Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical issues in vehicles.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade vehicle electrical systems and components.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify problems.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on system integration.
- Ensure all work meets safety and performance standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive electrical technologies and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians.
About You
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Requirement
- Proven experience as an Automotive Electrician, preferably at Level 2.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
- Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Relevant certifications or training in automotive electrical systems.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- At least college diploma or equivalent and relevant certification or training is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience out of which 3 year of relevant experience as Auto Electrician in vehicle maintenance workshop
