Call for Proposal Professional Photography Services
Background
Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) Ethiopia invites qualified and experienced professional photographers to submit proposals for photography consultancy services to support the documentation of its integrated livelihood development projects implemented in the Amhara and Oromia regions of Ethiopia.
The assignment aims to document project activities, results, beneficiary stories, sustainable coffee production practices, and landscape restoration efforts through high-quality and storytelling-driven photography.
Assignment Overview
The consultancy assignment will be conducted in two production rounds between August and December 2026.

Submission Requirements

Technical Proposal Including:
- CV and/or Company Profile
- Portfolio of previous relevant photography work
- Equipment List
- Sample Works

- Brief methodology and work approach
Financial Proposal
- Detailed budget quotation for the assignment

Submission Details
Physical Submission
Applicants are required to submit their proposals in a sealed envelope clearly labeled:
“Photography Consultancy Proposal”
The Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes within the main package.
Soft Copy Submission
A soft copy of the Technical Proposal and portfolio/sample works should also be submitted using QR code, USB, or a downloadable link.

About You
Key Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional photography experience
- Renewed Business license and VAT registration certificate
- Strong portfolio in documentary and storytelling photography
- Experience working in development, agricultural, or rural contexts
- Ability to produce high-quality, edited, and print-ready images
- Strong interpersonal and cultural sensitivity skills
- Ability to work in remote field environments
