About the Job
We are pleased to announce a call for video production services for Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR’s) “Enhancing Sexual and Reproductive Health for Women and Adolescents” (ESWA) project. This vital documentation will gather participant feedback, record project achievements and lessons learned, and provide insights for future initiatives. It will also serve as an advocacy tool to attract funding for health initiatives and act to support and enhance local project succession.
Background
Since 1984, Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR) has operated in Ethiopia, initially focusing on famine relief and emergency health services. The ESWA project, funded by Global Affairs Canada, aims to enhance reproductive and sexual health and rights for women and adolescent girls by improving access to high-quality, gender-responsive, and youth-friendly SRH services in selected areas of the Amhara and Oromia regions.
We invite media production companies to submit applications for video production services from October 4 to 10, 2024. This project is crucial for documenting feedback from participants, document the project’s overall achievements, lessons learned and provide valuable insights for future initiatives. It will also serve as an advocacy tool to attract funding for health initiatives
Objective/Purpose
The video will showcase the ESWA project, featuring key participants, including women and young adolescents of childbearing age in the North Shoa and Arsi zones of Oromia, and the Central Gondar zone of Amhara. It will highlight those accessing health facilities, schools, and youth centers, including healthcare workers providing youth-friendly services, as well as health extension workers, community leaders, volunteers, and partner organizations.
