Salary: Negotiable + other benefits per company policy

Role Summary
The Cashier Accountant will manage all cash and bank transactions, act as the main cashier handling collections and disbursements, and ensure accurate financial recording and reporting in compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive payments from customers (cash, checks, transfers) and issue receipts.
  • Handle daily cash disbursements with proper authorization.
  • Maintain a cash register and balance cash at the end of each day.
  • Prepare and submit daily cash position reports to the Accountant/Finance Manager.
  • Deposit daily collections into the company’s bank accounts.
  • Assist in preparing vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment records.
  • Record all cash and bank transactions in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile petty cash and ensure proper documentation of expenses.
  • Safeguard cash, checks, and other financial instruments as per company policy.
  • Assist in preparing monthly payroll.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial dealings.

About You

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cashier and/or accounting roles.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Peachtree, QuickBooks, or ERP).
  • High level of integrity, honesty, and reliability.
  • Strong customer handling and interpersonal skills.
