About the job 

The Chief Financial Officer manages the overall financial risks of the Group. He/she oversees the preparation and compilation of financial reports and statements, plans, and pursues positive business ventures, comes up with strategies for internal growth, and manages the Group’s revenue effectively. The Chief Financial Officers work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to create plans and opportunities that benefit the company.

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for Group’s financial goals achievement. His/her duties include supervising cash management activities, coming up with money-saving strategies, and managing investments.

He/she performs broad accounting and business tasks, including developing financial strategies, supervising finance personnel, and analyzing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chief Finance Officer (CFO), plans, develops, and implements the Group’s Finance strategies,
  • Overseeing PLCs involved in the purchase, pricing, investments, debt management, and accounts payable and receivables,
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting teams
  • Providing recommendations to the CEOs and members of the executive team assisting in the processes of financial prediction and preparation of budgets
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial reports
  • Assisting the executive team on long-term financial and business planning
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and investors
  • Tracking cash flow and analyzing the company’s financial weaknesses and strength whilst proposing corrective actions
  • Performing other related duties as may be required

About You

Education and qualification

  • BA/MA in finance, accounting, business management, business administration or related field

Additional Skill

  • Excellent financial forecasting skills
  • Proficiency in various computer software, such as MS Word, MS Excel
  • Financial management software
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • The ability to strategies and devise solutions,
  • Impeccable analytical mindset and comfort working with numbers
  • Excellent financial planning skills and budget improvement, Honesty and integrity

Relevant Experience

  • 12/10 years of relevant experience out of which 3/4 years on Directorial position of relevant experience respectively.
