About the Job

Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a leading Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks of Ethiopia. The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with a state-of-the-art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks. Currently, PSS has one vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualification and required experience listed for this job opening.

Description of Duties

  • Formulate and implement the strategic direction of the client relationship.
  • Develop policies, procedures and process documents for the client relationship and lead in their implementation through the continuous review.
  • Support the Chief Technology Officer in the implementation of the Corporate Strategy.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that clients’ needs and concerns are satisfactorily met.
  • Develop a comprehensive client management dashboard highlighting key client management initiatives and goals, KPIs, prioritization, tools, resources, stakeholders and ownership.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients by understanding their goals, needs, and challenges; regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback.
  • Identify client management approaches in line with contemporary business needs and assign clear targets, ownership and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities to propose additional products or services to existing and new clients.
  • Coordinate all client support requests, feedbacks, complaints, incidents and ensure proper response is delivered in the most effective and timely manner.
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and recommend solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to ensure long-term client partnerships.
  • Address client complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner. Escalate complex or high-priority issues to the appropriate internal teams for resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are properly met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities; and uses the information to identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with clients in the portfolio through regular contacts and visits.
  • Build knowledge base from the clients’ relationship journey and lessons.
  • Exercise supervision on subordinates.
  • Prepare budget for the work unit.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring of employees within the work unit.
  • Prepare periodic reports.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

About You

Qualification & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Public Relation, Management or related fields.
  • At least eight years relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role is advantageous.
