JOB DESCRIPTION
Rimon General Trading PLC is a major industry player in the import export business in Ethiopia. Our company has been contributing a lot for our country for many years. We export livestock, agricultural products and import variety of products.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Overseeing all aspects of the building process,
- Working closely with engineers and architects to develop plans, establish timetables,
- Determine labor and material costs. They are responsible for ensuring the project is completed on budget and within scope.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
- Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
- Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Education & Experience
- BSC in Civil Engineering, Construction Management and related fields
- Four or more years of experience.
Skills
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
