Data Validator-Cleaners are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all collected survey data. They will carefully review, clean, and validate data, identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and outliers to prepare the dataset for analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Validation: Systematically review collected data for errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and outliers using predefined validation rules and software tools.
• Data Cleaning: Correct or flag inaccurate data entries, ensuring data integrity and compliance to survey specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain data quality control procedures throughout the data lifecycle.
• Error Reporting: Document identified data issues and their resolutions, providing feedback to Supervisors and Data Collectors to improve future data collection.
• Data Standardization: Standardize data formats and ensure consistency across all entries.
• Database Management: Assist in maintaining the survey database, ensuring data is properly stored and accessible.
• Reporting: Generate reports on data quality metrics and cleaning progress.

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or any other field that has an experience related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in data validation, data cleaning, or data quality assurance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, R, Python, or specialized data cleaning software).
• Ability to identify patterns and anomalies in large datasets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear feedback on data quality issues.
