Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a pioneer Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks of Ethiopia and working for the vision of Driving Digital Solutions for all. The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with a state of the art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks. Currently, PSS has a vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualification and required experience listed for this job opening.
Description of Duties
- responsible for overseeing and developing Database Management, Analytics, and Integration strategies to facilitate the smooth operation of the department on database administration; application integration; Management Information System
- Plan, supervise, lead, and manage the department team
- Oversee database Management & integration results by setting and enforcing standards and controls.
- Oversee proper functioning of the database and application administration, performance tuning, capacity usage and planning, security configuration and monitoring
- Review and recommend periodic database and application security patch update as per vendors’ recommendations and best practices
- Oversee Management Information System (MIS) report development, scheduling auto report generation and user support
- Develop procedures to ensure data integrity and quality are maintained.
- Coordinate integration, message type configuration and end-user support
- Oversee and manage In-house application configuration, deployment, testing, troubleshooting, monitoring and prepare user manual document
- Establish switch and any other application integration, product or service maintenance, switch transaction testing using a simulator.
- Ensure business continuity through maximum high availability architecture
- Assess, recommend, and implement new software tools and third-party database management and analytics integrations as needed or directed.
- Oversee and database management, application integration systems and analytics projects and project teams to achieve successful completion of the project timeline.
- Oversee enterprise application integration platform to ensure seamlessly connecting a variety of on-prem Management Information System (MIS) and cloud apps to transform and orchestrate the data required for business workflows
- Prepare periodic reports

Job Requirements
Qualification & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or any other related field
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, with 2 years as a supervisor
- Certificate in Database, Middleware, Analytics tools, APIs, Information security systems or related certification
- Exposure in PCI DSS is preferable
- Relevant professional certification is advantageous
