Kelem Ethiopia (KELEM) is a national non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan, civil society organization (CSO) committed to humanity. Kelem has been actively participating in on the on-going developmental activities of the country mainly through the creation of access to quality education, water, Sanitation and hygiene (WaSH) facilities, health, emergency response and capacity building of citizens and institutions at different level.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Junior Communication & Documentation Officer, She/he will play a vital role in supporting the communication and documentation needs of the organization. She/he will assist in creating and disseminating internal and external communications, maintaining documentation systems, and ensuring consistent and effective communication across various channels. His/her role will contribute to enhancing the organization’s communication strategies and maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Head Office

Job Requirements
Essential minimum qualifications and capacities
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, graphics, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
- Excellent proofreading and editing abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the management of different communication channels, including digital and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Paint and Picture Manager Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and photo/video editing tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with content management systems or document management software is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with individuals at various levels.
- Proactive attitude, creativity, and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends.
