Job Description

We are looking for a junior Human Resources Officer to support our exciting growth!  The purpose of the post is to provide day-to-day support on a number of HR operational matters, as well as on specific and punctual HR related initiatives such as the employee recognition and award program.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the joint Chief, Human Resources Section within the Directorate Division.
  • human resources issues, rules and regulations, job descriptions, clarification on provisions of the Collective Agreement, etc.), Ensure legal compliance on all human resource management activities
  • Involve in employment related contracts for authorization and handle correspondences on post recruitment formalities (medical, police, insurance, maintaining identity cares etc…), Handle all staff insurance and medical matters; prepare related correspondences (renewal of insurance policies, medical contracts, and communication of relevant information, etc.)
  • Manage the employee ID (printing, Issuance + collection at time of contract termination), Manage employee attendance and produce timely report, continuously follow-up and update Job descriptions. Maintain up-to-date and complete bank of job descriptions per employee both soft and hard copy where hard copy shall be maintained in each personal file.
  • In close collaboration with the HR Officer and the HR focal points, provide support to Selection and Recruitment activities including publishing vacancies on job boards, screening applications, representing HR during interviews depending on the level of the positions advertised, preparing selection recommendations
  • Participate in HR related projects including in the area of performance management and provide appropriate HR support to the team
  • In collaboration with other HR colleagues, identify and analyse areas for improvement related to procedures and work processes as well as recurrent issues related to the application of HR regulations, and make recommendations for improvement purposes
  • Follow up administration and control of contracted employees ‘recruitment.
  • Receive loan requests, analyze the necessary pre-condition, and communicate relevant information, Update employee database, ID, personal information, and training.

Career Level:  Junior Level (2+ years experience)

Job Requirements

  • BA Degree in Management, Business administration, Human Resource Management, or relevant field
  • 2 -3 years of experience as a junior HR officer or similar HR role
  • knowledge of human resources operations and best practices
  • Hands on experience in using MS Office, databases and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Any additional training and certification in Human Resource Management will be considered an advantage
