Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare all incoming samples for testing.
- Conduct all testing as per the sampling plan.
- Maintain laboratory instrumentation, lab procedures, analytical recordkeeping, and calibration.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance, to troubleshoot a product defect or processing issue.
- Participate in the discussion of potential root causes /RCFA/ and assist with the implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Manage sample retention and storage.
- Participate as an active member on continuous improvement projects, like process optimization, product improvement and energy optimization.
- Comply with all procedures, regulation, and policies applicable.
- Actively participate in the establishment, implementation, maintaining and continually improvement of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
- Execute any related tasks given by the immediate supervisor.
Duration: One year contract
Location: Debreberhan, Ethiopia

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Food Science, Applied Chemistry, Applied Biology, and related field.
- At least one to three years of experience in Quality Analysis in food industry
- This position requires awareness of HACCP, food hygiene and Quality standards.
- Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent In English and Amharic
