. Role and responsibilities of Manager – Litigation
- Develop litigation strategies in consultation with senior management and external counsel.
- Oversee ongoing litigation matters across subsidiaries (civil, commercial, labor, regulatory).
- Maintain a centralized database of all cases, hearings, and outcomes.
- Track timelines, deadlines, and compliance with court requirements.
- Engage and manage law firms representing Tamrin in various jurisdictions.
- Review legal opinions, pleadings, and submissions prepared by counsel.
- Negotiate legal fees and monitor performance of external lawyers.
- Provide litigation support to subsidiary legal and compliance teams.
- Consolidate subsidiary litigation data for group-level oversight.
- Ensure proper filing of complaints, petitions, affidavits, and evidence.
- Explore alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods such as arbitration and mediation.
- Recommend settlement strategies where commercially viable.
- Reduce litigation exposure by resolving disputes proactively.
