About the Job
To prepare accurate mechanical engineering drawings, layouts, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, utility layouts and as-built drawings for dairy processing and utility systems. The Mechanical Designer will support engineering projects by ensuring all drawings comply with company standards, engineering codes and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings for processing and utility equipment.
- Prepare fabrication drawings for platforms, pipe supports, brackets and structural items.
- Produce installation drawings for new equipment. · Prepare P&IDs. · Develop piping isometric drawings.
About You
- Minimum 3 years of drafting experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience in dairy, food & beverage, pharmaceutical or FMCG industries is preferred.
- Experience preparing P&IDs, piping layouts and utility drawings.
Requirement Skill
Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software
