About the Job

The Midwife at Teklehaimanot General Hospital will provide expert clinical care to expectant mothers, ensuring safe and healthy childbirth experiences. This full-time, Senior Executive (C Level) position is office-based in Addis Ababa and involves overseeing maternity services while collaborating with healthcare teams. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care, continuous improvement, and effective communication with clients and staff.

Requirement:

  • Graduate from Recognized institution By BSc midwifery.
  • License is mandatory Senior midwife Professional.
  • All Computer skill.
  • English language is proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of maternity care services, ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of pregnant women and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to patients, ensuring safety and well-being.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for mothers and newborns.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for expectant mothers on childbirth and parenting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of maternity services to improve patient care.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Engage with community partners to promote maternal health initiatives.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement projects to enhance hospital services.
