Job Summary
DEDE Bottle PLC is seeking a qualified and results-oriented Officer – Planning & Control to coordinate and manage production planning and control activities. The position is responsible for ensuring efficient, timely, and optimized bottle manufacturing operations through effective resource utilization, production scheduling, and continuous process improvement. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align production output with business demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules to meet operational targets.
- Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources.
- Ensure production activities align with demand forecasts and operational requirements.
- Monitor production performance and prepare KPI reports.
- Analyse operational data and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality departments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing excellence programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Prepare periodic planning and performance reports for management review.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Production Management, Accounting, or related fields.
Experience:
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain management within the glass manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Additional Assets (Preferred):
Training in ERP/MRP systems.
- Advanced Excel and reporting tools.
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in production planning software (SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
- Strong analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and production scheduling capabilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of KPI monitoring and manufacturing performance management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
