About the Job
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and Safe Work Permit procedures.
  • Operate and monitor utility plants (boiler, WWTP, chemical dosing systems) efficiently, safely, and economically.
  • Monitor parameters, gauges, chemical, oil, and water levels; record hourly readings and prepare daily reports.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, cleaning, and annual maintenance programs.
  • Maintain quality standards in WWTP operations in coordination with QA and SHE teams; report and act on deviations.
  • Ensure availability and proper use of chemicals, materials, and spare parts as per specifications.
  • Maintain housekeeping, 5S standards, and sustainable practices for water, energy, and waste management.
  • Support emergency callouts, shift work (24/7 operation), and perform other duties as assigned.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within malting,
    brewing, or a similar industry.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Fluent in Amharic and English.
