Background
Finn Church Aid (FCA), through its Digital and Creative Economy Hub (DICE) project, supports youth, creative and digital entrepreneurs, and startups in Addis Ababa. As part of its commitment to foster innovation and empower emerging creative businesses, FCA is offering workspace access to selected startups, freelancers, and remote workers. The workspace is designed to nurture productivity, collaboration, and knowledge exchange within the digital and creative ecosystem.
Objective
The objective of this initiative is to provide free access to a professional, fully equipped coworking space for individuals and teams working in digital, tech, or creative sectors. The aim is to:
- Create a collaborative and inspiring environment.
- Reduce overhead costs for emerging creative entrepreneurs and freelancers.
- Encourage networking and knowledge sharing.
- Provide access to FCA-DICE resources, events, and mentorship opportunities.
Scope of Opportunity
Participants will:
- Work from the FCA DICE workspace from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Use facilities including Wi-Fi, desks, meeting areas, and basic amenities.
- Participate in regular networking events, peer learning sessions, and creative community discussions.
- Get priority notifications for DICE training sessions, masterclasses, and workshops.
Target Group
- Startups in early growth phases.
- Freelancers working in design, digital marketing, software development, animation, content creation, or related fields.
- Remote workers and consultants need a stable, creative environment.
Workspace Details
- Location: FCA/DICE creators’ hub, Addis Ababa
- Days: Monday to Friday (excluding holidays)
- Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications for Applicants
- Must be legally registered enterprise (for startups) working in a creative, digital, tech, or innovation-driven field.
- Should be willing to engage positively in a shared space (collaborative attitude).
- You must provide a brief profile and a description of your work or business.
- Preference given to youth, women, and marginalized groups with strong potential.

Selection and Duration
- Selected users will be given access for an initial period of 1 month, with the possibility of renewal based on active usage and contribution to the workspace culture.
