Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1.      Assist in preparing annual budget and controlling production expenses

2.      responsible for managing the finances and maintaining financial records during production including preparing schedules and budgets and managing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting

3.      prepares a statement of account showing all income and expenditure for the production.

4.      prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly gross margins, assist in month-end closing and inventory

5.      completes gross margin analysis of a company’s products, inventory, and overall value

6.      Developing cost standards for materials and labor

7.      Analyzing production costs and recommending changes

8.      Overseeing annual physical inventory

9.      monitor costs of goods sold and provide feedback to meet goals.

10.  provides data and analyses reports that can be used by managers to make decisions that will lead to long term profits and growth

11.  improve a company’s profitability by managing, controlling and eliminating expenses

12.  Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs

13.  Setting standard costs of manufactured goods

14.  Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit

15.  Performs a variety of tasks related to budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking of production processes

16.  analyze a company’s expenditures and create reports to advise on improving efficiency and reducing financial waste

17.  Designing and implementing cost accounting systems

18.  Analyzing production costs and recommending changes

19.  Participate in production planning meetings to draft a schedule of jobs for production and decoration lines,

20.  Draft raw material, packaging materials refractory and consumables requirement for active and forecasted jobs and also monitor consumption of raw materials, packaging materials and consumables for the manufacturing operation

21.  Track consumption and wastage along the manufacturing line and highlight to the management.

22.  Liaise with the stores and warehouse to update on stock status of raw materials, packaging materials, refractory and consumables.

23.  Follow up daily production and scoring between shift management, warehouse, and quality.

24.  Track speed, mass, efficiency and tonnage production to align with the cascaded plan,

25.  Review information systems such as GR8, Sage and ms excel based templates to track production, consumption and wastage,

26.  Involve in production meetings to action planning and material issues that challenge the performance of crews,

27.  Monitor tool consumption and track tool life in line with the mould shop and planned yields

28.  Liaise with the production team for streamlined transaction of production information,

29.  Involve on monthly crew and plant reviews.

Qualifications Required:

• BA in Accounting, Accounting, Business Management or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant work experience, preferable who worked in cost accounting, inventory management etc..
