About the Job

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling of production considered the installed and achievable capacity.
  • Requirement of raw and packing material planned and communicated to supply chain to ensure production continuity.
  • Review and corrective action conducted where shortages are predicted.
  • Work with production planner to draw weekly and monthly production schedules
  • Analyzed daily actual production output with installed capacity.
  • Ensured the quality and quantity of product meets expectation.
  • Root cause analysis (including trending & documentation) conducted on all deviations to planned and installed capacity
  • Corrective action implemented immediately to ensure maximized capacity utilization. Line technicians & operators coached in maintenance and operation of equipment.
  • Ensured all requirements are incorporated in SAP as per production schedule.
  • Ensured optimal people productivity as per planned volume and capacity.
  • Ensured discipline is maintained to the highest standard.
  • Maintained company values in the business unit by training and developing people.
  • Continually lead the development and elevation of direct leaders and staff through proactive coaching, mentoring, professional development, and feedback
  • Maintained a SAFE ZONE to employees by ensuring all hazards are identified, reported and removed.
  • Reported all unsafe conditions, near misses and unsafe behaviors on Enablon as per Wilmar standard.
  • Reported all accidents and incidents within the time frame provided by Wilmar manually and then on Enablon.
  • Engaged with employees continuously through safety talk to create awareness
  • Assured a high level of housekeeping standard within the production unit.
  • Managed COGS for the unit as per company standard.
  • Material variances are minimized and controlled.
  • Optimized production manpower to reduce overhead cost.
  • Minimized waste and rework by maintaining a high operation quality standard.
  • Reduced unnecessary expenses.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to ensure highest level of availability of machineries to deliver output.
  • Continuously engage with own team and quality team to ensure highest FTR is delivered by machineries.
  • Reported and followed up all machinery performance deviations with Maintenance.
  • Assisted with the maintenance team in identifying and assisting during maintenance breakdowns.
  • Ensured operators are trained by the maintenance team on the basic Cleaning, Inspection and Lubrication (CIL) of machineries.
  • Be the focal person for the S&OP process to align the business need with the production plan.
  • Develop the plan capacity plan considering maintenance, CIP and other plans to deliver sales volume.
  • Weekly review of performance and input to the S&OP process.
  • Continuously engage with all stakeholders to communicate status of productivity (volume, quality, etc).
About You

Qualification:

  • BSC in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or other related field of study.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in an FMCG industry out of which at least two years in managerial position.
