About the Job

African Network for the prevention and Protection against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN) – Ethiopia is a Local Civil Societuy Organization re-registered with the Federal Agency fo Civil Society Organizations under registration number 0385 and working on Child Protection. It is one of the oldest Child Protection Organization in Ethiopia and is implementing different programs in different parts of Ethiopia in collaboration with donor partners and government stakeholders. ANPPCAN-Ethiopia is looking for a competent Program Manager who is well experienced and aware of the local Civil Society Organization environment. Hence, ANPPCAN- Ethiopia invites competent and interested applicants who fulfill the requirements indicated below to applay for the following position.

Position: Program Manager (PM)

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Executive Director of ANPPCAN-Ethiopia, the Program Manager plan, organize, lead and control the overall programmatic activities of the organization; project design and lead the resource mobilization effort of the organization, monitoring and evaluation, promotes good practice in the implementation and delivery of the overall plan of the organization; Manage and ensure the smooth running of all the program/project activities in accordance to ANPPCAN-Ethiopia’s general policies and procedures; produce different kinds of reports for internal and external stakeholders; support and evaluate the performance of project managers/coordinators and senior program coordinators; drive ANPPCAN- Ethiopia towards programme and financial sustainability.

Terms of Employment: One year Contract with possibility of extension

About You

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

MA/BA in Development Studies, Project Management, Economic, Sociology, Social Works, Psychology or related filed with a minimum of 4/6 years of relevant experience out of these 2/3 years of the experiences have to be in NGO setting preferably in National NGOs
