Position: Project Manager

Job Purpose

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure timely delivery within approved budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements. The role requires effective leadership, resource management, stakeholder coordination, and proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop project work plans, implementation schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, budgets, and performance targets.
• Ensure project activities comply with contractual obligations, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify project risks, delays, and operational challenges and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, logistics, and other relevant departments.
• Monitor project costs, resource utilization, and budget performance.
• Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to management.
• Ensure proper documentation of project activities, decisions, variations, and approvals.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedules, and resources in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Lead project meetings and ensure timely resolution of implementation challenges.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in project management or project leadership.
• Experience managing construction, engineering, infrastructure, technology, or multidisciplinary projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality control.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within established timelines and budgets.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to results.
