Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring real estate development projects to ensure timely completion, quality standards, cost efficiency, and compliance with approved plans and contractual requirements. The position holder is expected to manage two or more adjacent construction projects in Addis Ababa, ensuring effective coordination of contractors, consultants, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
Brief Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple nearby real estate development projects from initiation through completion.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, construction quality, and resource utilization.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Identify project risks, resolve implementation challenges, and take corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit periodic project progress reports to management.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved quality standards.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in real estate development or construction project management, preferably in high rising building projects of which a minimum of 4 years as project manager position in high rising buildings.
- Proven experience in project planning, budget control, contractor management, and construction supervision.
- Strong leadership, coordination, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
