International Clinical Laboratories (ICL), would like to invite well-qualified internal applicants for the following vacant position:

Major duties and responsibilities:

• Establish and implement a reporting and investigation mechanism for spills, exposures, and other incidents.
• Establish and implement procedures for the management of spills and exposures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Establish and implement processes for the safe and legal disposal of hazardous materials and waste
• Establish and implement a reporting and investigation mechanism for spills exposures, and other incidents.
• Establish and implement procedures for the management of spills and exposures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Establish and implement processes for the safe and legal disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
• Make sure infections acquired in the laboratory are reported, as defined in the policy and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Review Safety manual and prepare annual safety training
• Conduct safety audit and follow up the non-conformities and plan for  improvement
• Perform  other  tasks based on company and in particular the department need

Reports to:                 Compliance and Quality Assurance Director

Requirements:

• BSc and above with the relevant safety officer related experiences.

Experience:

• 4 years and above experience as Medical Laboratory Technologist/  Environmental Science

Skills:

• Basic computer skill (Ms Office), Statistical soft wares (Epi-info,Epi-data,SPSS etc.) use
