Under the general administrative, technical and professional directions of the Deputy General
Manager (DGM), the Sales Manager plans, organizes, directs, co-ordinates and controls the
overall sales activities of the organization; initiates and formulates policies, strategies and
objectives pertaining to same and submits to the DGM for approval; implements approved
decisions. Encourages research in better sales management, studies new sales territories in
diversification and expansion and the matrix of sales mix.
1. Develops annual plan of the sales Department
2. Oversees, coordinates, directs and ensures the effectiveness of company‟s sales function
throughout the company.
3. Prepares the sales budget; carry out activities within the approved budget
4. Initiates the need for and designs framework of relevant sales policies, strategies, and
guidelines after approval from the company‟s DGM.
5. Oversees and ensures market assessment and expansion for the Eco Green product of the
company
6. Ensures the sales function of the company is conducted in compliance to the company
policies and strategies.
7. Oversees the completion of paper work and monetary transaction associated with domestic
distribution in a timely manner.
8. Ensures that product delivery continuously meets the customer schedule and quality
requirements
9. Attends sales meetings with clients to review prospective projects
10. Plans proactive plan for sales prospects and leads
11. Assists in communication of potential sales leads, both online and over the phone
12. Conducts customer satisfaction surveys and suggest recommendations to alleviate issues
13. Creates campaigns for, and manages company social media
14. Monitors the operational performance of the sales unit of the company in terms of sales
(volume/revenue), efficiency, profit, etc.
15. Coaches, develops and appraises performances of employees in the sales department;
16. Generates periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual) about its performance
and presents to the Deputy General Manager
17. Develops staff competency of the staffs of the department
18. Develops replacement plan for key positions in the department
19. Directs and controls the sales efforts related to sales activities
20. Maintains an effective internal sales organizational structure with the practical effect of
growth and builds up a strong sales team;
21. Prepare important sales documents and formats such as sales templates; letters, reports,
sales expenditures and major challenges of sales;
22. Encourages and prepares the ground for research in sales activities and the
subsequent effective of training of personnel;
23. Nurtures the concept of expansion of the customer base and the thriving of new market
along with the possible market feasibility;
24. Provides a high standard of personal leadership and motivates all concerned to give
continually all their best;
25. Avails himself, whenever possible, to all important connections of the department;
government bodies, customers, etc.;
26. Serves as the focal point between the organization and the customers;
27. Presides at all sales meetings; keeps a sense of urgency and importance on sales people
effectiveness in all and stimulates creative thoughts.
28. Performs other relevant duties as required
