Ahadukes Food Product S.C. is a manufacturing company primarily engaged in food products, Biscuits and Pasta in Bishoftu town of Oromia state. It is a joint investment between Ahadu P.L.C & UK based Vasari investment Group. We hence, invite qualified applicants for the following vacant position.

Role purpose general:

  • Ahadukes Food Product S.C.seeks or looking for a sales representatives to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage
  • Also manage and develop Ahadukes’ business through key selected retailers in a defined sales territory to build distribution of Ahadukes brands and optimize visibility in every outlet.
  • Also manage all wholesalers on the territory of an Active Distributor to ensure stock is widely available

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop productive relationships with all customers served in the territory to secure an ongoing level of business.
  • Monitor competitor activity in the territory and report back any key findings to the BDM as soon as possible.
  • Make full use of mobile sales tool to develop business and provide line management with all required information from the field.
  • Generating leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining client records.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability
  • Meet/exceed the monthly KPIs and set for the territory including

          o    Product distribution /availability

          o    In-store visibility

          o    Territory coverage (journey plan adherence)

          o    Sales volume/value

Sales Representatives Requirements

  • Experience in sales.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.

Required Competencies:

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food products industry and unique sales and marketing features of the industry.
  • Cultural & language empathy with people in assigned area of Ethiopia.
  • Well organized and results driven.
  • Possessing excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to use Office Applications programs including word processing and spreadsheets for basic office automation purposes.

Job Requirements

 Experience:

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, business, economics or related field.

  • 4 years of Food manufacturing sales experience in a field sales capacity.
  • Demonstrable evidence of having been successful at developing a customer base and growing sales in an assigned territory.
  • At least 2 years of Food manufacturing sales experience in a field sales capacity selling products through wholesalers.
  • Demonstrable evidence of having been successful at growing sales in an assigned territory
  • Demonstrable evidence of having successfully achieved major Sales objectives.

It is preferable to have experience as Sales representatives in Food manufacturing company
