Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the financial operations of two affiliated companies. The role requires strong financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, project cost management, and regular business performance reporting to management. The position is part-time but requires scheduled office presence and consistent reporting.
About You
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for both companies
- Provide regular Business Status and Financial Reports to the Management Team
- Manage budgeting and financial planning
- Oversee tax compliance (VAT, payroll tax, withholding, pension)
- Monitor revenues, receivables, and cash flow
- Track operational and project costs
- Ensure strong internal financial controls and compliance
- Guide finance personnel in the office on proper documentation, accurate data entry, Peachtree posting, and other related financial activities
- Represent the company during government audits and tax inspections
Requirements
- BA Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s is an advantage)
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations
- Experience with Peachtree and advanced Excel
- Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multi-company accounts independently
