POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior IT Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT infrastructure, overseeing the strategic planning, security, network infrastructure; troubleshooting and resolving IT issues. S/He will lead and initiate the organzizational  development of technology-based change efforts and develop and provide training to staff. In addition, s/he will play a key role in driving innovation and ensuring the smooth and optimal operation of First Consult’s information technology systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Organzational Managment

  • Oversee daily operations of the network infrastructure.
  • Design, implement, and maintain an efficient network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting network performance. Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Plan, implement, and manage network upgrades and migrations.
  • Maintain detailed IT documentation for future references.
  • Develop a detailed department manual for guidance and procedures of the network infrastructure for reference.
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve network performance and uptime.
  • Prepare reports on network performance and identify areas for improvement.

Technical Expertise

  • Manage, analyze, and troubleshoot the company network and IT system.
  • Maintain and implement server security.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to existing IT system.
  • Maintain IT databases, documentation and develop reports.
  • Design and share data visualizations using Tableau.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and security of the company website.
  • Provide helpdesk support to all staff for desktops, applications, printers, and network issues.
  • Manage software and hardware licenses and warranties.
  • Prepare user-friendly guides and documentation for various IT systems.
  • Be a focal person assisting and troubleshooting for any glitch updates for the company website.

Team Leadership

  • Identify employee’s technology skill gaps and initiate initiatives to fill them in.
  • Ensure seamless functioning of the Information Systems (IS) department through efficient delegation and supervision.
  • Guarantee that IS upgradation and modernization processes are timely and efficient.
  • Implement network training programs to polish the team’s factual and practical knowledge.
  • Build a collaborative work environment that boosts productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Ensure smooth IT operations by collaborating with internal teams.

Project Management

  • Responsible for allocating budget and track for the department and working closely with the commercial director to obtain excellent quality equipment with fair prices.
  • Manage network-related IT projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project implementation.
  • Forecast future network and system needs and plan for scalability.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Have a proven experience managing IT personnels.
  • Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, with minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior IT system administrator role or Bachelor ’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, with more than 10+ years of experience in a Senior IT System Administrator role.
  • Extensive knowledge of security system principles and network protocols.
  • Expert in Microsoft Windows Servers, active directory, Microsoft 365 and Office Suite.
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Openness to new technologies and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize urgent tasks and to concurrently work on multiple tasks.
