Job Description
AMMARS group Ltd is a diversified business company in South Sudan. We have a restaurant for our head office staffs in Juba. We are looking for qualified Restaurant Chef who can lead the restaurant professionally.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Creating menu and recipes for cooking high-quality and delicious food consistently.
· Controlling and directing the food preparation process in the restaurant.
· Cooking foods with the highest quality of test, aesthetics and verities.
· Managing and working closely with other cooks in the kitchen.
· Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.
· Ensuring food hygiene, sanitation and economic resource utilization in the kitchen.
· Ensuring that the menus and food preparation are in consideration of different nationality employees.
Job Requirements
Educational Background
· Level 3 TVET Diploma in food preparation and COC certification from recognized food preparation college.
Work Experiences-
At least 6 Years of experiences in 4-star hotel or high-end restaurant as Senior Cook with European dish. Experiences in oriental dish is advantageous.
Essential Skills
- Self-initiator and ability to work with very little supervision.
- Excellent knowledge of all sections of the kitchen
- Ability to produce high-quality food and delicious food consistently.
- Good oral communication in English.
- Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and interests
- Positive attitude and team player
