Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, including desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device issues.
- Assist users with software installations, configurations, and updates.
- Log and track all support requests and incidents in the helpdesk system.
- Prioritize and escalate issues to the appropriate IT staff as needed.
- Ensure timely resolution of user issues, providing updates and feedback to users throughout the process.
- Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other instructional materials.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new hardware and software.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, ensuring that all hardware and software are tracked and managed properly.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for the purchase of IT equipment and supplies.
- Manage user accounts and access rights, ensuring that users have the appropriate permissions for their roles.
- Assist with password resets, account lockouts, and other access-related issues.
- Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements to reduce the number of support requests.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of study
- minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience.
