Scope of Service
The Consultant will design and deliver training program on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution to identified youth which are thirty in number in Shashemene town in Oromia regional state. VSO Ethiopia will arrange the training venue and associated services.
Location and Duration
The training program which will have a three days duration will be conducted in Shashemene town as soon as possible.
Reporting / Working relationship
The consultant is expected to work with VSO Ethiopia’s Livelihoods and Youth team.
Job Requirements
Experts Profile or Expertise Required
- The consultant is expected to have at least five years relevant experience in delivering training on youth leadership, peace building, conflict resolution and GBV and a post graduate qualification in Peace Studies, Law and any other relevant social science field of studies. Ability to effectively communicate in English, Afan Oromo and Amharic is mandatory.
