Positive Action for Development (PAD) is an indigenous, non-governmental, humanitarian and development organization legally registered at Federal level by Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Charities and Societies agency on June 6/2011 with a registration number 2330. PAD would like to hire a qualified CCCM Project Coordinator for an IOM RRF funded project entitled “Improving access to basic services to crisis affected IDPs and vulnerable households through ABA-CCCM” for the following position.
Overall Responsibilities
- Line management of shelter/CCCM project field staff.
- Adherence to PAD policies, guidance and procedures and awareness of CCCM global and regional strategies.
- Contribute to shelter/CCCM strategy development, project proposals and provide input on needs and gaps, considering where appropriate the role of cash-based interventions and market-based programmes.
- Manage and implement delegated portfolio of shelter/CCCM projects (activities, budget and project documentation) as delegated from ED in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements, and ensure high technical quality.
- Provide regular progress reports to his/her immediate supervisor.
- assess new and better ways to assist.
- Promote and share ideas for improvement and necessary changes in the activities.
- Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills.
- Liaise and collaborate with relevant local authorities and other key stakeholders.
- Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy

Job Requirements
Qualification; MA/MSc Degree and above in Management, phycology, sociology, social work and other related field of study
Experience At least 5 years relevant experience of which 2 years at CCCM activities managerial position
Skills Required, Attitudes and Attributes
- Experience from working in a shelter/CCCCM project implementation position in a humanitarian/recovery context, preferable in Tigray region.
- Fluency in local language, Tigrigna, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Team-management and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
