Cost Control

The Cost Controller plays a critical role in the hospitality industry by ensuring the financial efficiency and operational success of cost control of operations (F&B and all other company operations). This role focuses on cost control, inventory management, and financial reporting to maximize profitability while maintaining quality and compliance with industry standards.

Job Resposiblilty

  • Monitor and control all F&B and labor costs, all operation cost like spa, hair salon, Gym analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock takes, waste reduction, and FIFO procedures.
  • Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports and provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze menu profitability, ensure accurate recipe costing, and assist in pricing strategies.
  • Analyze Service profitability, ensure accurate costing, and assist in pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with procurement to evaluate suppliers and secure competitive pricing.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
  • Train staff on cost control, portioning, and waste management procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and spot-checks on portions, preparation, and storage.
  • Perform other duties when and assign with supervisor.

Required Skill

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry with a focus on food and beverage & cost control.
  • Skill: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, analyze cost variances. Excellent in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
