Allin Global Trading PLC is a dynamic company engaged in international import and export operations. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customs Clearing & Transit Declarant to join our team and oversee our customs formalities and logistics processes.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all customs-related documentation, ensuring compliance with Ethiopian Customs Commission regulations, and facilitating the smooth transit and clearance of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customs declarations using the e-CMS/ASYCUDA system.
• Ensure accurate classification of goods according to the HS Code and current customs tariffs.
• Manage transit documentation and follow up on the movement of cargo from ports to destinations.
• Liaise with the Ethiopian Customs Commission, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
• Ensure all import/export permits and bank requirements are fulfilled before declaration.
• Provide technical advice on customs regulations, duties, and exemptions.

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification: Must possess a valid Customs Declarant Certificate (License) from the Ethiopian Customs Commission.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Declarant or in a similar role within a clearing and forwarding agency or trading company.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in customs software and a deep understanding of Ethiopian customs laws and international trade procedures.
• Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
