Mothers and Children Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) is an Ethiopian resident charity organization registered in accordance with the charities and societies proclamation No 621/2009 with a certificate No 0022. MCMDO currently is being implementing different projects and development activities in Oromiya , SNNPR, Somali, Gambella , Benishangul Gumuz , Afar, Tigray, Amhara, Harari, Dire Dawa and City Administration of Addis Ababa.
To meet its objectives MCMDO calls for competent professionals to apply for the following vacant positions.
Main Purpose:
The EOs will be responsible to implement the planned activities at school level in collaboration with teachers, school directors, cluster coordinators and PTSAs. The Eos will ensure the participation and engagement of the key stakeholders to realize the quality of education in the targeted woredas. They will plan and execute the activities based on the plan. The  EOs report to the Project Coordinator.
The following are the key roles and responsibilities;
  • Plan the project activities
  • Ensure the implementation of the project activities based on the plan and set of standards
  • Mobilize local stakeholders and the community to be engaged in the implementation of the project activities
  • Organize and deliver different trainings and capacity building activities
  • Plan monitoring sessions by stakeholders
  • Organize review meetings.
  • Compile woreda level reports

Location: Different woreda,  in Benishangul Gumuz reginonal state   (Metele zone) and Afar regional state ( zone two)
No of position :  four ( two for each of the regions)
Type of Employment: Ten months Contract

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • BA in Education, Educational  Development planning and Management, and related fields  with five years of work experience
  • Previous experience on implementation of similar projects
  • Essential computer literacy (word, excel)
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to humanitarian objectives
  • Highly motivated, flexibility, quick learning and team working;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, local language is an asset
