Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct financial audits in accordance with the audit plan and established audit methodologies.
• Review and analyse financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Perform data analysis and identify discrepancies, trends, and potential areas of concern in financial records.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data through analytical procedures and substantive testing.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive audit workpapers that document audit procedures, findings, and conclusions.
• Assist in drafting audit reports, including observations, conclusions, and recommendations for improvement.
• Confirm that all audit findings are supported by appropriate evidence and are communicated effectively to the Financial Audit Manager.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to the audit team and relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in follow-up activities to ensure that audit recommendations are implemented effectively.

Qualification and Experience

• Masters degree in Accounting,Finance and Accounting or related fields with a minimum of six (4) years of demonstrated experience

OR

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Accounting or related fields with a minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience.
