Role and responsibilities of a Head of Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Develop and implement a process improvement and innovation roadmap aligned with corporate strategy.
- Act as a change agent, embedding continuous improvement and innovation into the company culture.
- Identify process inefficiencies, redundancies, and bottlenecks across manufacturing facilities.
- Standardize processes across business units for scalability and consistency.
- Drive continuous process improvement and lean manufacturing practices. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TQM to optimize processes.
- Scout and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and practices relevant to the business.
- Pilot and implement innovative solutions (automation, AI, digital platforms, new business models).
- Foster a culture of creativity and experimentation across subsidiaries.
- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives that combine process redesign with innovation adoption.
- Oversee project execution: planning, budgeting, stakeholder alignment, and delivery.
- Ensure measurable ROI and sustainable impact from transformation projects.
- Drive organizational change by engaging stakeholders and securing buy-in.
- Develop communication and training programs to support new processes and innovations.
- Define KPIs for both process improvement and innovation initiatives.
- Track efficiency gains, cost savings, customer satisfaction, and innovation outcomes.
- Report progress and impact to senior leadership and the Board.
- Partner with external stakeholders (consultants, technology providers, industry forums) to bring in fresh ideas.
Engineering + MBA; Lean Six Sigma
