LonAdd HR Consultancy Plc (www.lonadd.com) is a Recruitment & Outsourcing Company based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with branch offices in Dukem and Hawassa. We are looking for a competent Interface Engineer for our client Tulu Kapi Gold Mine.

This position demands strong expertise in enhancing systems, processes and/or people, driving innovation, and achieving sustainable objectives across disciplines.

Extensive international experience having worked with international EPCM companies will be a criterion in evaluating candidates.

This role is a fixed term position on a definite period contract of employment.

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Interface Engineer role is to lead coordination between engineering teams, EPCM contractors, vendors, and site execution teams in supporting construction and commissioning readiness.

Location Addis Ababa

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Developing, populating and ramping up the Interface Systems in to-be-agreed software.
• Facilitate systematic safety and risk management workshops in high-risk construction and mining industries.
• Delivery of minimum up to medium size projects working with EPCM companies in a mining environment.
• Coordination of Company, EPCM and Contractor formal information flow.
• Generating complex outputs, able to be easily queried, in various of the Microsoft suite of products.
• Collation for and draft appropriate project execution information in line with each different project and commissioning phase and specific situations.
• Promote strong safety leadership, operational discipline, and accountability.

Experience Required

• Extensive international experience having worked with international EPCM companies
• In depth knowledge of systems improvement in mining operational environment
• Experience in the development of financial models specific to the mining environment
• Sound knowledge of mining operational readiness requirements and proven experience in coordination of correct information for such requirements

Minimum Required Qualifications

• BEng (Hons) Industrial Engineering or related qualification.

Language Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English with language proficiency at the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) category C2 Mastery standard and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
