Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS)-Ethiopia is an international Catholic organization with a mission to accompany, serve and advocate on behalf of refugees and other forcibly displaced people. JRS has been operating in Ethiopia since 1982, and it has been re-registered and accorded legal personality with registry number 0884 on May 24,2019 as a Foreign Organization in accordance with the Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No.1113/2019.
JRS Ethiopia invites independent audit firms licensed by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) to external audit of the organization’s financial statements for 2025 fiscal year.
Interested audit firms must:
- Be legally registered and licensed to operate in Ethiopia and can present tax clearance for current fiscal year; and VAT registered;
- Hold a valid and renewed audit license issued by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE);
- Have at least five (5) years of experience auditing international NGOs with IPSAS
- Assign qualified and certified audit professionals;
- Ability to perform the audit work timely with appropriate audit standards within short period of time;
- Have ability to do group audit instructions work
Interested and qualified firms are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals together with relevant legal and other documents in person or following postal address to the JRS Ethiopia Country Office within fifteen (15) consecutive days in sealed envelope:
