Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients,
  • censuring the safe and effective use of medications. This role is perfect for recent pharmacy
  • graduates or individuals looking to gain valuable experience in a pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications and counsel patients with accuracy and care
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications as per prescriptions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and offering medication related advice
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Support senior pharmacists in managing inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates of medications.
  • Participate in medication therapy management and provide information on drug interactions and side effects.
  • Help in conducting health screenings and immunization services as required.
  • Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and pharmacy regulations to provide accurate information to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Select and process orders, including online and e-commerce orders.
  • Work hands-on with our digital systems and pharmacy technology.
  • Support and mentor teammates in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
  • Take on responsibilities that go well beyond a typical pharmacy role.
About You

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and a valid professional license.
  • 1-3 years and above of community retail pharmacy (dispensary) experience
  • Respectful, professional conduct with patients and colleagues
  • Open to manager guidance and feedback.
  • Flexible with working hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Valid pharmacy license or eligibility for licensure in Authorized institution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed.
  • Proficient in using pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices
  • Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude.
  • Flexible with working hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Comfortable with technology, or quick to pick it up
