Overview The process operator contributes to the company by operating machines to aid in plant processes, and perform routine maintenance checks. They are self-motivated team players who have an aptitude for computers and mechanics.
Task and Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and ensure entire production runs smoothly
- Ensure productions materials are available to complete operations as needed
- Maintain and monitor the machine to make sure it functions properly
- Ensure to maintain the cleanliness of assigned work floor and equipment
- Adjust machines as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
- Conduct quality checks periodically
- Maintain 5S of all tools and accessories in production area
- Forklift license/experience is a plus
- Comply with established safety and security standards by wearing proper protective equipment

Job Requirements
Knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of Production Procedures
- Occupational training such as first aid, Health and Safety and security awareness
- Speak and Read/Write in English
Qualifications and education required
- Diploma from a technical institute
- Minimum 3 years in a similar field
- Completed an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
Personal competencies
- Self-motivated, independent, solution orientated, a deadline-driven individual with strong time management skills
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Problem solving skills
- Build mutually beneficial relationships internally and externally
- Good Communication skills both written and verbal
- Willing toperform repetitive tasks for extended periods
