Introduction: The procurement coordinator is- Responsible for purchase management, in particular the follow up of purchases, preparation, together with the Logistics Manager, market assessments, contracts and supplier evaluations and communication with local and international suppliers for the status of purchase orders, claims and complaints
Targets and deliverables
General
- comply to product quality targets, including food safety and hygiene.

Procurement Coordinator
Team
- Manage the General and technical purchaser
- Coordnating the purchase of local technical and non-technical local purchases
- Coordinate the purchase of Technical International purchase
Suppliers
- Build a network of preferred supplies
- Negotiate agreement
- Enabling speed & quality
- Digitizing order & financial process
- Responsible for market assessment, supplier evaluation and communicate with supplier
- Responsible for searching supplier as per the company standard
Purchasing (Execution)
- Manage and follow up on the status of requested purchases
- Responsible for coordinating communication within department
- Responsible for sharing purchase database to concerned body
- Responsible for purchase of international purchase (Direct/indirect/Capex and spareparts)
- Manage purchase database
- Prepare monthly procurement plans and progress
Policy & improvement
- Responsible for updating and managing procurement policy
- Responsible for managing complaint and claims of procured goods and service
- Develop and oversee local and international procurement systems to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of goods/service
- Manage the entire process in the planning of goods/service procurement ensuring effectively functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.
Compliance
- Managing and making sure that all purchase fulfills the company purchase process
- Managing and making sure the purchase team is handling petty cash for small purchases properly.
- Responsible for submitting proper document for finance for all purchase
- Support the requester and finance in reconciling the delivered quantities with the purchase orders and Invoices.
- Responsible for Managing contract for all purchase which contract is applicable.
Reporting
- Prepare monthly report on procured item and spend
- Managing and handling annual spend purchase database
Other Administration
- Assist in any work assigned by line manager
Organizational structure
- Reporting: hierarchical to Procurement Manager
Job Requirements
Requirements
Education:
- BA degree in logistics and supply chain management/Business fields
Experience:
- Minimum of experience 5-7 years as procurement coordinator in manufacturing sector
Technical skills:
- Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team, assess priorities, and manage multiple activities with attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving capacity, with demonstrated ability for considerable analysis and sound judgment to find solutions in a complex environment with shifting and competing priorities.
