TERMS OF REFERENCE
For the development of a CBM Ethiopia, profile booklet
Background
Christoffel Blinden mission – Christian Blind Mission (CBM) e.V is an international Christian Disability and Inclusive Development Organization, committed to improving the quality of lives of persons with disabilities and those at risk of disability in the poorest countries of the world. Based on its Christian values and over 100 years of professional expertise, CBM addresses poverty as a cause and a consequence of disability and works in partnership with and through government and nongovernmental organizations to create a society for all. CBM, as a development partner of Ethiopia, in partnership with key stakeholders, is engaged in Growth and Development Transformation processes of the country in the areas of Health, Education, Livelihoods, Emergency, Social and Economic Empowerment of persons with disabilities, their families and those who are at risk of disability since 1967 (G.C). In order to improve the quality of lives of persons with disabilities and those at risk of disability, CBM has been focusing on capacity development of partners; disability and inclusive development; program and organizational sustainability; networking and alliance building.
Scope of work
The overall objective of the consultancy is to develop and produce an Institutional Profile Booklet that depicts the activities of CBM Ethiopia work 2024, which can help for visibility and communication tool towards donors, and partners.
Deliverable
The Consultant shall be expected to submit:
Booklet
- Proposed structure of the booklet, within 5 days from the signature of the contract
- Draft booklet, within 20 days from the start of the signature of the contract.
- Final booklet, incorporating comments and the amendments proposed by the Contracting authority – within 30 days from the start of the signature of the contract.
- Printing of the 500 copies of the report, within 45 days from the signature of the contract
Time Duration
The total duration of the support will be 45 days starting from the signing of the agreement.

Professional Competency of the consultancy firm
- The consultancy needs to present proven evidence of similar projects for international donors and NGO’s

i. Letter of expression of interest
ii. Technical proposal: This should include, at a minimum:
- Consultants’ profile with particular emphasis on previous experience on similar work
- Description of the proposed content development approach and methodology, including understanding of the ToR and the tasks to be accomplished
- Proposed work plan including the expected level of effort and number of working days.
iii. Financial proposal, which should:
- Be clear and demonstrate outputs
- Be inclusive of all costs required to render the services and achieve the deliverable of this ToR
iv. Copy of Tax Identification Number (TIN)
