Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Videographer and Video Editor role based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The role involves planning, filming, and editing high-quality video content that showcases properties, luxury lifestyles, and architectural features for marketing and branding purposes. The Videographer and Video Editor will handle pre-production tasks such as concept development, storyboarding, and shot planning, as well as on-site production including camera operation, lighting setup, and sound coordination. Daily responsibilities include capturing footage of properties and related environments, selecting and editing clips, adding transitions, color correction, and integrating music, voice-overs, and graphics. The role also requires close collaboration with marketing and sales teams to align video content with campaign goals, social media strategies, and brand guidelines, while managing media assets and meeting project deadlines.
About You
Qualifications
- Strong video production skills, including planning, shooting, and post-production for marketing and promotional content.
- Proficiency in camera operation and handling various camera types and accessories for professional-quality footage.
- Experience with lighting for indoor and outdoor environments to achieve consistent, high-quality visual results.
- Ability to shoot video on-site, including framing, composition, and stable handheld or gimbal-based shooting.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and an eye for detail, composition, and aesthetics.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and accept feedback in a professional, constructive manner.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in real estate, architecture, or lifestyle video content is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
