Mothers and Children Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) is an Ethiopian resident charity organization registered in accordance with the charities and societies proclamation No 621/2009 with a certificate No 0022. MCMDO currently is being implementing more than 32 projects and development activities in Oromiya , SNNPR, Somali, Gambella , BenishangulGumuz, Afar, Tigray, Amhara, Harari, Dire Dawa and City Administration of Addis Ababa.

To meet its objectives MCMDO calls for competent professionals to apply for the following vacant positions.

Type of Employment: Nine months Contract

Number of post: Two

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Ensure that the goals and objectives of the WASH project, work plan and M & E Plan.
• Ensure the implementation and promoting WASH support activities at community level.
• Provision of WASH NFI
• Reporting
• Conduct regular monitoring
• Conduct social mobilization
• Support to strengthen WASH facilities
• Collaborate with local governments and other actors
• Participating in the monthly and quarterly Woreda level update and review meeting and responsible for reports according to templates.

Qualification:

•  BSc in environmental health, public health, water engineering and related field with 5 year professional experience Essential computer literacy (word, excel)
• Fluent written and spoken English, local language is an asset.

• Excellent communication skills-verbal and written. Communication in English is a key requirement. Knowledge of local language (preferably).
