BID for Mid Term Evaluation
CST Ethiopia represents the Catholic development agencies of Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales and works in partnership with local, secular & church organizations. CST Ethiopia works in the thematic areas of resilience building, humanitarian response, peace building and women’s empowerment.
Developing Inclusive and profitable dairy value chains for pastoralist communities in Borana zone” is a three-year Project with a budget of 950,000 GBP and funded by the Jersey Overseas Aid commission (JOA) starting from Oct.1, 2020 to be led by CST and implemented through local implementing partners. The project aims to improve the economic opportunities of 5,351 women and youth in Borena Zone, Moyale district, in ways that socially and economically empower women and conserve the ecosystem. The project is planned to be implemented in Ethiopia / Oromia Region / Borena Zone / Moyale woreda (District) Tuqa, Maddo, Bakola, Argane, Mude-Ambo Kebeles (sub-districts).
Scope of the Work
The overall scope of work is to check if the project is achieving its target and assessing the change in the system because of the project implementation
Job Requirements
- Must have a team of experts with a background in social sciences, livestock, Business administration, gender study, market system development and environment
- Have excellent command of English and basic communication skills in the local language, Afaan Oromo would be a plus.
- Be a legally registered business entity or firm with renewed business license for the 2014 E.C year
- Be a vat registered business company
- Experience with similar NGO funded project evaluation
- Experience with value chain assessment
