Coffee Agronomist

ESUENDALEW DINKU IMPORT EXPORT (GREATCOFFEE) is a newly established coffee farm dedicated to producing high-quality coffee using modern and sustainable agricultural practices. We aim to build a strong foundation for long-term growth and excellence.
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Coffee Agronomist to support the establishment and development of our new coffee farm. The role focuses on productivity improvement and sustainable farming systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement agronomic plans
- Establish nursery and planting systems
- Monitor soil fertility and recommend improvements
- Manage irrigation, pests, and diseases
- Train and supervise farm workers
- Improve coffee yield and quality
- Prepare regular reports

About You
Educational Requirements
- BSc Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in coffee farming or agronomy
- Experience in new farm setup is an advantage
- Familiarity with international sustainability certifications and traceability frameworks is advantageous.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of coffee agronomy
- Good communication and teamwork
- Basic computer skills (Excel, reporting)
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to work in a startup environment
