About the Role
The role is responsible for establishing and managing a robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) framework that aligns demand, supply, and financial objectives to support business growth at National Marketers PLC.
You will lead integrated planning across Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, efficient resource utilization, and data-driven decision-making. This role plays a key part in improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction through synchronized planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Demand & Supply Planning
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and commercial inputs
- Align supply plans with demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and service availability
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and stock levels to mitigate supply risks
- Continuously improve forecast accuracy and planning processes
S&OP Process Management
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly S&OP cycles and planning reviews
- Drive alignment between Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations
- Ensure execution of agreed plans and track performance against targets
- Standardize and strengthen S&OP processes across the organization
Commercial & Operational Execution
- Translate commercial targets into actionable operational and supply plans
- Optimize resource allocation to support revenue growth and customer demand fulfillment
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains
Reporting & Planning Analytics
- Prepare regular planning reports including demand, supply, and inventory performance
- Analyze variances between forecast and actual performance and recommend corrective actions
- Provide scenario analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
- Deliver insights that support overall business performance and planning accuracy
Leadership & Team Performance
- Lead and manage Demand & Supply Planning team members
- Set clear performance targets and monitor team delivery
- Coach and develop team capabilities in planning, analytics, and systems
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or S&OP roles
