• Develop procurement and inventory management policies and procedures and implement them when approved.
• Coordinate with retail operations and marketing team in setting up procurement plans, distribution strategy and scheduling to ensure timely and accurate delivery of items as required for operation;
• Ensure that all forms and documents related to procurement are completed and processed in a timely manner according to company procedures; ensure the safekeeping & proper custody of all original documents and records related to procurement operations;
• Ensure timely dispatch of receipts and other relevant documents to the concerned departments and/or persons to ensure timely and proper execution of subsequent, accounting, administration and operational activities;
• Systematize, plan, direct, manage and control all warehouse management and distribution activities of the company in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Responsible for ensuring the appropriate internal control system for the management of stock, procurement, and distribution.
• Ensure that all forms and documents related to warehouse operations are completed and processed in a timely manner according to company procedures; ensure the safekeeping and proper custody of all original documents and records;
• Ensure periodic inventory of materials is conducted, records are timely updated and complete material records are maintained to ensure that physical materials in warehouse are in agreement with records (Bin cards, stock cards and other inventory records) at all times;

EDUCATION:

• A combination of qualifications in pharmacy/ public health/ pharmacology and supply chain management or related field is desirable
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree level qualification in supply chain management, pharmacy, pharmacology or related field is required;

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals supply chain management with at least 3 years at supervisory/managerial level OR Master’s degree with 8 years’ experience
