Job Summary: – manages daily manufacturing operations, coordinates plant staff, and enforces strict food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: –

• Plan and manage daily or weekly production schedules.
• Monitor manufacturing workflows and adjust line speeds to meet deadlines.
• Requisition raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies.
• Monitor plant sanitation protocols and hygiene rules to prevent cross-contamination.
• Conduct routine product quality checks and manage non-conformance corrections.
• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate assembly line workers.
• Train new hires on equipment operation, safety rules, and company policies.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate team performance.
• Resolve sudden equipment malfunctions or processing delays quickly.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for minor machinery upkeep or repairs
• Address staffing gaps or supply chain bottlenecks on the floor.
• Complete daily production logs, timesheets, and output reports.
• Track inventory usage and waste metrics.
• Liaise with upper management and external audit inspectors when required.

Qualifications: -BSc degree in Food Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Production Supervisor with significant experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
